Bhim Nation president, Stonebwoy has become the first Ghanaian artists to speak out about the E-Levy bill proposed by the President of Ghana.

The E-Levy bill which aims to tax Mobile Money users has become the main topic in Ghana since the bill was announced.

Most Ghanaians doesn’t like the idea and has taken to their various social media pages to protest. Despite these protests, not a single celebrity has supported the masses in these protests.

Due to this, a Twitter user names Famepet Sedinams took to the bird app to ask Stonebwoy and colleagues as to why they haven’t said a word about the bill.

The dancehall artist who was online at that time immediately replied him and said, “Any policy that increases tax never meets a smiling face.”

Indicating that any government policy that increases tax always brings controversy. Maybe it’s because of the controversy that made him stay quiet.
