Radio presenter, Maria Okan has broken silence on her relationship with musician Olamide and the purported child they may have had together.

Be reminded that Maria Okan gave to her daughter three years ago, and christened her Asaiah Monife Maria Okanrende.

A cross section of internet users in Nigeria thought that Maria Okan’s new baby was Olamide’s daughter, her alleged ex-boyfriend.

Additionally, there were rumors that Olamide paid Maria Okan to abort the pregnancy because he didn’t want his lover Adebukunmi to be upset when she informed him they were pregnant.

Maria Okan, has therefore, debunked speculations that she was paid to abort the baby as she established that no one gave her money to do any abortion.

In a series of tweets, he wrote;

“Your trolling comments, death threats and insults all these years have meant nothing lol. We are doing well, we are healthy, we are making money and we will continue to elevate.”

“And for the record, no one gave me any stinking money for an abortion. As a mother, when you carry a child and deliver her by the Grace of God, you will know how insulting this is and has been.”

“At the time those nonsense stories came out, I chose to focus on delivering my child since I had a high-risk pregnancy and a fibroid that practically exploded a few months in. But as she is safe and sound now, there’s no pressure. We thank God”.
