According to a statement released by the Student Representative Council of KNUST, the President, Michael Abuah, and his speaker were unable to embark on the South African trip due to some inconveniences they were meted with at the Kotoka International Airport.

The statement further stated that a delay in visa application caused the decision to select four executives out of the six-member delegations to take the lead to South Africa to represent the school while the President, Michael Abuah, and his speaker attend a council meeting in Takoradi.

It goes on to state that the President and his speaker planned on joining the other four executives in South Africa on Sunday 26th June 2022 after attending to his constitutional duties in Takoradi along with his speaker.

Well, rumors being speculated within the digital space has it that the President failed to embark on the said trip, nor has he been able to account for the funds that were allocated for the said trip.
