Kiddominant Reacts To The Amapiano ‘War’ Between Davido & DJ Maphorisa

Award winning Afrobeats record producer and recording artiste, Ayoola Agboola, professionally called Kiddominant has responded to the Amapiano tussle between Davido and DJ Maphorisa.

The well-known Nigerian producer, Kiddominant, popularly known as KDDO has joined the NIgerian star, Davido and South Africa’s DJ Maphorisa‘s Amapiano war but this time with a new twist that revolves around himself.

The ‘Amapiano War’ started after a Twitter user on Wednesday, August 14, 2022 claimed Davido started Amapiano in Africa which led to DJ Maphorisa responding saying ‘Sponono’ which happens to be first Amapiano tune released in 2019 featured Wizkid and Burna Boy

Davido quoted DJ Maphorisa tweet and slammed him, stating that the record producer never liked him.

In an update, Kiddominant, has taken to the bird app to claim being the first to debut amapiano in West Africa, alongside South African rapper Cassper Nyovest with their collab ‘eWallet.’ “Me and Cassper “ewallet” started amapiano in west africa. Sponono followed and made it bigger then David & foca really took the genre to another level. Fact”, he wrote.

MEANWHILE: Mavin Record boss, Michael Collins Ajereh, professionally known as Don Jazzy has reacted to Rema’s first career debut on Billboard Hot 100.

The respected Nigerian music executive and record producer, Don Jazzy has taken to social media to react to Mavin Records signee, Divine Ikubor, known within the showbiz circles as Rema’s latest achievement.

The ‘Calm Down’ hit-maker, Rema made his career debut on the Billboard Hot 100 charts with the remix of his smash hit song ‘Calm Down’ which features globally recognized singer, Selena Gomez and this had generated several reactions from netizens.

Joining the tall list of celebrities to react to this feat is his record label boss, Don Jazzy. Taking to the bird app via his verified handle to laud Rema’s latest achievement, he quoted billboard charts tweet and wrote; “Na from clap Dance Dey start”. Screenshot below.
