Veteran Nigerian record producer and music executive, Michael Collins Ajereh, better known within the showbiz circles as Don Jazzy has shared the story behind his signature, ‘It’s Don Jazzy Again’.

The renowned recording artiste and entertainer in a recent interview disclosed how his popular tagline, “It’s Don Jazzy again!”, which became very popular back in the late 2000s came about.

Don Jazzy who made an appearance on Chinasa Anukam’s podcast, “Is This Seat Taken?” shared the story in response to the host’s question. According to the music executive, he’d heard an exciting signature of American record producer, Scott Scorch and he was inspired to create a similar one.

Taking to the bird app via his verified handle, he stated that, when he starts charging the new price, the artiste will have no option but to pay. “If I don’t die young, I’m gonna charge a million dollar(s) for a video and y’all gonna pay. You can’t run, you can’t hide.”, he wrote.
