The reason why Shatta Wale attacked Jackie Appiah in his recent Facebook live has been revealed.
Controversial dancehall artist, Shatta Wale went berserk on actress Jackie Appiah during his Thursday night Facebook live.
During the live video, Shatta Wale stated that Jackie Appiah doesn’t make enough money from acting to finance her lavish lifestyle therefore she is a “Toto Worker”.
The video immediately went viral on social media and people began to wonder why Shatta Wale would just wake up and attack an innocent actress who is minding her business somewhere.
Well.. the reason why he jabbed her has been disclosed and its linked to a comment she made during the pandemic.
In 2020, Jackie Appiah subtly slammed Shatta Wale for demanding money from the government before he agree to become a COVID-19 ambassador.
In an interview with MzGee on 27th March 2020, the actress stated that no celebrity should be paid to be an ambassador for COVID-19.
“We all need to educate each other…This is a global thing, it’s not just my industry alone. It’s quite sad…sometimes I use my platform to educate people
I’m doing this already for free right now nobody is paying me. I’m already doing it without being paid
If government wants to engage me, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie or any other, they should know that there is something that needs to be done. It’s a tradition”. she squizzed.
That was a reply to what the dancehall artist said earlier in March 2020, he said; “we can’t come out and say we’re going to do it for free. I’m not part of their political party. It’s best for them to put a package down. Doing it for free will be very hard for someone like me”.
After nearly two years, the Shatta Movement boss has come out to blast the actress even though the ambassadorial deal is no more. The reason why he waited for this long to attack the actress is still unknown.
