Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has said that award-winning actress and producer, Funke Akindele is not fit to be a leader.

Funke Akindele is currently vying for the position of deputy governor candidate under the PDP party alongside Dr. Abdul Azeez Olajide as the gubernatorial candidate for the PDP.

A lot of social media users have also disagreed with the decision of the actress of going into politics a few weeks after her marriage collapsed. Uche Maduagwu is also of the opinion that Funke Akindele is not fit to be a leader.

According to Uche Maduagwu, Funke Akindele is a good actress but selecting her as the deputy governorship candidate for Lagos 2023 is very insensitive. He disclosed that the actress is fond of breaking the laws and hence not fit to be a leader.

Uche Maduagwu cited an example to push his point. He recounted how the actress threw a birthday party during the lockdown season when covid was spreading like bush fire and people were asked to practice social distancing.
