Ghanaian DJ Kobo is starting a fantastic endeavor to promote the Ewe culture. Ahead of the Hogbetsotso festival, which is celebrated by the Ewes of the Volta Region, DJ Kobo uses the occasion to create a mixtape.
In his new mixtape, “Road To Hogbe,” DJ Kobo, who is a native of the Volta Region, pays homage to his heritage. The mixtape gives listeners a glimpse of the potential of the local music scene by showcasing some of the top musical artists from the region.
