90% of Repentant Terr0r!sts Have Truly Changed — Borno Governor

Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has declared that not less than 90 per cent of terror!st elements who repented from the life of crimes in Borno State have genuinely forsaken their past.

Babagana Zulum made this statement while responding to questions from journalists after the inauguration of the Presidential Committee on the Repatriation, Return, and Resettlement of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the North-East of Nigeria at the Presidential Villa.

According to the ruler, most of the terror!sts who have repented from their evil ways are already giving the government the necessary support.

Asked if he was sure that the terrorists have truly repented, 

”Hundred percent confident. Yes. While no process is perfect in the entire world, so far, so good, the process has yielded positive results.

I believe, over 90 percent of those that have surrendered, are doing well and have given the government the necessary support. They’re also calling their colleagues in the bush to come out and join the process of peacebuilding.”
