Mega award-winning Nigerian superstar, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, widely known in showbiz scenes as Wizkid has won the Best African Artiste at the ongoing VGMA 2022 edition.
The 2022 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is currently ongoing at the Grande Arena in the Accra International Conference Center. The event was graced by most of Ghana’s finest entertainment personalities and dignitaries in the country.
During the show, the Nigerian musician, Wizkid was announced as the Best African Artiste of the year in this year’s category.
Other musicians have also had their names mentioned on the stage for emerging as winners in some of the categories they were nominated in.
