US Rapper, Wale Reacts To Wizkid’s Grammy Awards Loss

Nigerian-American rapper, Wale known in private life as Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, has shared his opinion about Nigerian Superstar Wizkid not winning an award at the Grammys

Wale argued on his Twitter page that, Wizkid should have won many awards at the 64th Grammy based on his hit song ‘Essence’.

Wale’s assertion follows conversations on social media about Wizkid losing out at the just ended Grammys despite being among the nominees for the ‘Best Global Music Performance category’.

On Twitter, Wale wrote: “Essence should have multiple Grammys.”

Away from that, American rapper, Lil Nas X announced that he would quit being gay if he fails to win a single award at the Grammys after being nominated in five different categories of the awards scheme.

Lil Nas who opened up on his s3xuality several months ago earned 4 nominations including Record of the Year for his debut album Montero.

In the Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Music Video categories he was nominated for ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’

‘Industry Baby’ with Jack Harlow was recognized for Best Melodic Rap Performance.

Before the awards he’d told fans, “I’m either gonna win a grammy, go to a club, get drunk, and have s3x with a random stranger or lose each grammy,

Unfortunately, he left the event with no plaque from the Awards and he made a resolve to stop being gay.
