Tourism Ministry, CBITEC Of China Sign MOU For Construction Of Kumasi International Conference Centre

Tourism Ministry, CBITEC Of China Sign MOU For Construction Of Kumasi International Conference Centre. The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts has today, signed an MoU with a Chinese construction firm, CBITEC for the construction of an ultra modern conference centre and a theatre in Kumasi.

The event was witnessed by the Minister of Tourism Culture, Creative Arts Mrs. Barbara Oteng Gyasi, Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi, Kumasi Mayor, Oforikrom MCE, Hon Gloria Temmah Gambrah, Otumfuo Anantahene Baffour Agyei Fosu Twitwiakwa, Creative Arts Council President Mark Okraku Mantey, Film Producers Association of Ghana President Mr. James Aboagye, Ashanti Regional Chairman of Musiga Madam Augustina Addison and other senior media practitioners.

Speaking after signing of the memorandum of the understanding, Toursim, Culture and Creative Arts Minister Mrs. Oteng Gyasi dislcosed that , time has come for Ashanti Region to get it share from the ministry.
According to her after the conclusion of documents the finance ministry will give clearance to the investors to commerce work at the site.

She said the edifice when completed will serve us another hub for the creative arts industry.
She further disclosed that, the government is also working hard to change the face of Bonwire Kente wearing industry.
Hon. Oteng Gyasi revealed that , the documentation and the commencement of work will last for two years

On his part, The Kumasi Metropolitan Chief Executive Hon. Osei Assibay Antwi expressed his utmost gratitude to the Asantehene Otumfou Osei Tutu II for leasing such a vast land for such an important project.

She said, the edifice will be located close to Golden Tulip Hotel ”The assembly fully supports this project because it is coming to boost the city’s economy and also create more jobs for the people of Ashanti” he added. She used the moment to send a word to her rapper husband, Medikal and this has caused great excitement all over social media.

In a video she shared online, the former YOLO actress said she’s so fresh that she feels her husband has to do the needful by paying a second price because she’s obviously more expensive than what was given to her parents the first time when the marriage was contracted.

I’m wise and can’t support the NDC – Prince David Osei

Actor Prince David Osei says he is wise and therefore cannot support the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to him, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has brought some form of prestige to the Presidency since they took over in 2017, adding that the prosperity of Ghana is in the hands of the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

“As for the NDC they’ve done their term, we need to move forward, we need to progress. The prosperity of Ghana lies in the hands of this man. We need to progress, we can’t go back so please I’m indulging you all at home…Me I’m a sensible human being so I can’t support something which is bad. I reason and think logically,” he said in the rally monitored by MyNewsGh.com.

Prince David Osei who was speaking at the NPP virtual rally said the creative has seen a great improvement under the tenure of the NPP and there is, therefore, the need to to give the party another term to do more.

“The creative arts and tourism industry the government has given forty million to revamp the creative arts industry and to revamp the tourism industry. What else do you want? Don’t you see His Excellency has brought prestige and honour to the Presidency? How do you feel when you hear His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is the President of Ghana? Please don’t be deceived, don’t be deluded. As for NDC they’ve done their term.”

I regret not asking God for money in my youthful days – Pat Thomas

Legendary Highlife musician, vocalist and songwriter, Pat Thomas has revealed that his greatest mistake in life as a musician is that he did not ask God for money from God in his youthful days when he was making good music.

According to Pat Thomas, the reason he failed to ask God for money was that, during the days when he was at his peak in the music career, he had his self-actualization in producing good songs for people to enjoy.

“Growing up, the passion was more than the money. It was just recent years when I had already grown up then I realized I should have told God to add money to the fame”, Pat Thomas said this in an interview with Pure FM Kumasi on the show “Hammer Time” monitored by MyNewsGH.com.

“I always ask myself why after I asked God for voice to sing I didn’t add money. It could be that that is the reason I have not had enough money. But I think that you managing yourself is another thing”, he told Hammer Nti host of the show.

Pat Thomas insisted that, money is everything hence every man must work for it in abundance.
