Most Artistes Spend Their Capital Thinking Its Profit – Sarkodie. The most decorated African rapper Sarkodie has been tagged as stingy but his recent post might have something to do with his spending habits.
This post by Sarkodie was a follow-up tweet from a post he made about Kweku Smoke after seeing him go all out to work on his next project.

Sarkodie in the earlier tweet said, “…” showing how he was happy about Kweku Smoke spending that much in his career.

In the follow-up tweet, Sarkodie made mention of how the music business is just like any other business and therefore will need regular investments to make profits.

He tweeted, “I love it when artists put in their all … I always say you can’t cheat the game you gotto put in work… Music is just like any other business you flip till you see profits but unfortunately most artists spend their capital thinking it’s profit… Keep flipping“

Sarkodie Gives Young Talents A Tip On How To Stay In The Game For Long. Hip hop rapper Sarkodie has decided to give out some elderly advice with regards to staying relevant in the music game for a long time.

The rapper has been in the music game for over a decade and broke that norm that after taking the artist of the year Award the artist goes to sleep.

Sarkodie after taking the artist of the year award at the VGMA’s even became more stronger, wild, and hungry for success like an underground artist.

In a recent post, Sarkodie decided to give a little tip to young acts who are hoping to become A-List artists and staying in the game for long.

According to him, to stay in the game depends on what you know, hence an upcoming act would have to learn in order to stay in the game for long.

He wrote, “Who you know puts you on but what you know determines how long you stay in the game”

Kuami Eugene ‘Happily’ Performs NPP Song, ‘Happy Day’ With Sarkodie. Kuami Eugene who was recently crying foul that Sarkodie’s subtle political endorsement of the NPP on their song “Happy Day” could hurt his career as a musician has been spotted performing that very song with Sarkodie at an event.

After Sarkodie dropped the official music video to his song “Happy Day” which featured Kuami Eugene, the Lynx Entertainment artiste in an interview, told the media, that he had no idea that, Sarkodie was endorsing a political party as the first rap sent to him, didn’t have any line like that.

In a new video spotted on YouTube, Kuami Eugene is seen happily performing the song together with Sarkodie, who also re-echoed his endorsement of Nana Addo’s government.

With rumors making rounds that, Sarkodie had pocketed some Ghc500k to endorse the NPP, its clear that Kuami Eugene has finally taken a percentage of that cash after expressing that, he was uncomfortable with Sarkodie’s decision to keep him in the dark.

In another interview, Eugene had also mentioned that, his management was resolving the issue with Sarkodie and that, they would come into some sort of agreement.

For someone who said he was uncomfortable about Sarkodie using NPP jargons in the song, one wouldn’t expect him to be performing the song so soon at any event, especially when election is just some few days away.

Well, its obvious that some monies has been paid and I wouldn’t be surprised because Kuami Eugene himself had once mentioned that, he wouldn’t mind endorsing the NPP isif he’s paid—Yup, he said it, read that article we published here.

Anyways watch their first public performance of the song below: Kuami Eugene ‘Happily’ Performs NPP Song, ‘Happy Day’ With Sarkodie.

When Mzbel was asked the title of the song she had wanted the rapper to feature on, she revealed that the song was titled ‘Fa be woso’.

Samini and Sarkodie were paid GHC 500k to endorse Akufo-Addo – Sam George. Member of Parliament(MP) for Ningo-Prampram Sam Nartey George has alleged that some celebrities who have started endorsing the New Patriotic Party (NPP) were paid to do so.

According to him, they were paid GHS 500,000 each and therefore people should not be swayed by their endorsement of the NPP.

He indicated that although there is love for their music and craft, their political choices cannot be trusted because they are induced with money.

Sam George said “Don’t be swayed by any funny endorsements people. We may love their music and groove to it but we don’t trust their political choices especially when they are worth GH500,000”.

Sarkodie and Samini are the latest to endorse the President’s second term bid with their music.

To Sarkodie, if he continues to enjoy stable power and also his family enjoys free SHS, then Nana Akufo-Addo needs four more to do more.

Samini has also released “kpoyaka” to praise Akufo-Addo’s achievement across all sectors of the economy.
