Super Eagles Striker, Taiwo Awoniyi Bags UK Degree

Taiwo Awoniyi, a Super Eagles forward, has earned a degree in Business Management from Buckinghamshire New University in Wycombe, England.

Ojora Babatunde, a Nigerian sports journalist based in Europe, took to Twitter on Wednesday to congratulate the Nottingham Foreston player.

The tweet by the journalist reads;

Following their failure to qualify for the 2022 World Cup, popular Nigerian artist and songwriter David Adeleke known well as Davido was captured on video teasing his fellow Nigerians over their inability to qualify for the world cup in Qatar.

It could be recalled that the Black Stars of Ghana qualified for the World Cup in Qatar at the expense of the Super Eagles and this resulted in chaos as some Nigerian football fanatics caused commotion at the Moshood stadium in Abuja.

In the midst of the jubilation in Ghana and the disappointment in Nigeria, artist Davido has been featured in the FIFA 2022 Soundtrack even though Nigeria didn’t qualify. He is currently in Qatar with his lawyer friend as they were seen in a video throwing shades at Nigerians.
