Talented Ghanaian singer-songwriter and producer Shatta Wale has released a new track while working on the release of his eagerly awaited album, “Gift Of God.”

It is clear from every new release that Shatta Wale has repeatedly demonstrated his unmatched brilliance when it comes to making music and Cold Store is no different.

His latest song, “Cold Store,” has the potential to become a street anthem and will support his forthcoming album. Only two tracks from the Gift of God album have been released so far, and it’s probable that more will be in the following days.

British-Ghanaian singer Fuse ODG makes a comeback after a hiatus with the summer-themed new track ‘What It Do,’ a Salvathore production that incorporates Dance and Electronic overtones.

Despite the stagnation afflicting the Kumerican movement, of which he was a crucial player, multifaceted Ghanaian music singer Kweku Darlington has been able to win well and maintained his relevance.

The gifted rapper and singer revealed the album cover of his upcoming single and the day it would premiere earlier this week, announcing his second release of the year.

The inspirational song is titled ‘Onipa,’ and it features two of Ghana’s renowned music composers in the name of Fameye and the legend Okyeame Kwame.

A career-enhancing potential exists for Kweku Darlington as a result of this collaboration because of the influence the featured artists have on the African music scene.

‘Daama’ is the big new entry from the fast-rising star following the success of his previous song ‘OK’ and it has our attention. Niashun’s style is outright compelling – a standout of the Demag-produced song which we’re confident will quickly occupy the heads of many upon their first play.

Translating to “nothing”, ‘Daama’ or “m3ni daama” (I have nothing) – as it is mostly expressed when flat broke – is a song for the people. There is no over-analysis from Niashun. He sings in very relatable terms, exploring how the situation continues to wreck his confidence and happiness as a young man before turning to God: “Tutu m’anamon yi ma me 3hn, buebue kwan bi ma me 3hn?/Paapa sesa me hy3br3, afei de3 m’ay3 wild ooh”.

“With how things are going ‘Daama’ came at the right time”, Niashun shared. “It captures a state I feel many are in, especially the youth. But like I said in my previous release everything will be ‘OK’. Things will get better, hopefully”.

Between his official debut – ‘OK’ (2022) – and now, Niashun has gone on to become an impressive act with a style that has so far won him big successes and recently an approval from one of radio’s finest voices in Ghana, Andy Dosty. He has us excited and we’re keen on experiencing the brunt of his potential.

Ace Nigerian singer, Skales comes through with the remix of his previously released song ‘Say You Bad.’ To give the song a new flavor, he calls on ‘No Wahala’ hitmaker and fast-rising Nigerian musician 1da Banton.
