YBNL’s boss, Olamide Baddo drops “New Religion” featuring Asake shortly after ‘Amapiano‘. This new song is a follow up single to ‘Trumpet’ featuring Ckay. The song comes with the announce of Olamide’s soon to be released album title ‘Unruly‘.

Olamide Adedeji, known as Olamide is a Hip-Hop recording artist/songwriter signed to his own record label- YBNL. Born and raised in Bariga Lagos State, he began his music career professionally in 2010, when he worked with ID Cabasa’s Coded Tunes record to release his debut single ‘Eni Duro’ and his debut studio album in 2011 titled ‘Rapsodi’.

The following year, Olamide started his own record label and released his 2nd album titled ‘YBNL’ (Yahoo Boy No Laptop) in November 2012 under his imprint YBNL Nation. So far he has 10 albums to his name and a huge number of hits. His success in the entertainment industry has earned him several awards including Best Male Artiste, Best Rap Album and Album of the Year.

Asake’s journey into music was purely accidental as he started off as a dancer. He worked with a myriad of dance companies and theatre outfits while in school before trying his hand in music. His Afro-Fusion style and the energy he brought on stage made him fans favorite.

Asake got the industry’s ears tingling in 2020, his first single for the year (Mr Money), had him re-emphasizing confidence in himself and being true to his name. In 2022, He got signed to YBNL Nation after the success of his first single ‘Omo Ope’ featuring Olamide. Later in the year, Asake released his first EP and debut album titled “Mr Money With The Vibe” (MMWTV).
