In other news, legendary Ghanaian actor, Alex Adu Kofi Mensah, widely known as Agya Koo has detailed why he was snubbed by so many movie producers in the movie industry.

Speaking in an interview on Angel FM, Agya Koo revealed that he was cautioned by some elders including the Ashanti overlord, Otumfour Osei Tutu II to be mindful of their language and how they portray themselves in their movies.

Agya Koo revealed that since he wanted to be a favorite to all, he limited the number of abusive words he uses in his movies as well as making sure he never shows any obscene materials during his movie shoots.

However, a director compelled him to go against his principles, and his refusal to do his bidding contributed to his downfall in the Kumawood movie industry.

He recounted that during the shoot for his “Okomfo Anokye” movie, he was asked to go naked before the camera as part of the scenes in the movie but he refused because he felt uncomfortable and thought it was inappropriate to do so.
