Nigerian Producer, Chopstix Breakdown The Making Of Burna Boy’s ‘Last Last’

Top Nigerian beat-smith and audio engineer, Malcom Olagundoye, known within the showbiz circles as Chopstix has shared the production process of Burna Boy‘s global hit song, ‘Last Last‘

Burna Boy’s masterpiece, ‘Last Last’ was published on Friday, May 13, 2022. The beautifully crafted single which samples Toni Braxton’s ‘He Wasn’t Man Enough’ debuted on Apple Music Top 100 Music Charts during its first week of release.

Chopstix has taken music lovers through the production journey of the masterpiece. According to him, he had nursed the idea of sampling the Toni Braxton song and was excited when Burna Boy approached him with the same idea.

Prior to breaking down the making of the instrumentals, Chopstix gave a shout-out to Rodney Jerkins also known as Dark Child, who made the original beats to Braxton’s song back in 2000. Watch video below.

‘Last Last’ was shared on Friday, May 13, 2022 prior to the official release of his star-studded studio album, ‘Love, Damini’ which has amassed impressive numbers on major music streaming platforms.
