Kuami Eugene Replies Guru For Saying He Doesn’t Deserve The VGMA Artiste Of The Year

Over the weekend, highlife singer Kuami Eugene was crowned the 2020 VGMA Artiste of The Year at the 21st edition of the awards ceremony.

After the awards, many people were off the opinion that the Lynx Entertainment signee didn’t deserve the award.

The artiste of the year category had the likes of Kofi Kinaata, Diana Hamilton, Sarkodie,and Kuami Eugene but saw the young singer coming out as the winner.

NKZ Music CEO, Guru also came out to share his opinion that Sarkodie deserved the award more than the ‘Open Gate’ hit maker.

In a recent interview on Hitz Fm with Andy Dosty, the singer has responded to Guru for passing that comment in a very professional and nice way.

Responding to Guru’s comment, the afrobeat sensation said he feels that is his opinion and everyone has the right to share their opinion so he doesn’t hold anything against him.
