It Was Poco Lee Who Linked Me – Black Sherif Speaks On How He Met Burna Boy

Man of the moment, Black Sherif has recounted how he met Nigerian superstar Burna Boy with whom he had the remix f his monster hit Second Sermon which happens to be a sequel to his First Sermon which equally became an instant hit.

Speaking during an interview on Ghana’s TV3, Sherif whose recent track, ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ is breaking frontiers and ‘disturbing’ Ghana and beyond said his professional meeting with the African Giant was facilitated by Nigerian dancer, Poco Lee who played his song for Burna Boy.

He disclosed that a member of Burna Boy’s team contacted him on WhatsApp and said that the Burna Boy was highly impressed with the composition.

The rapper said that when he eventually got a chance to speak with Burna Boy via video call, they talked for about 20 minutes and that was how their association started.

In the same vein, a Nigerian man from Warri has consolidated the buzz surrounding Ghanaian rapper, songwriter, and singer Black Sherif relative to his monster hit, ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ which was released a few days ago.

According to him, he was recently at a fuel station in the community and the way the song was blaring loudly from the speakers at the place is a clear testament that the young man has come to stay.

On the same wavelength, Ghanaian musician and minister of the Gospel, Sonnie Badu has patted Black Sherif on the back for his exploits in Nigeria.
