I’ll Hand Over A Nigeria That Is Free From Insecurity To The Next Leader

President Buhari has guaranteed Nigerians once more that he will pass on a country free of insecurity to the following leadership in 2023.

At the 2022 National Honors Award Investiture held at the International Conference Centre in Abuja on Tuesday, October 11, the President provided the assurance.

Before leaving office in May 2023, Buhari promised that his administration would put an end to all types of banditry, crime, terrorism, and insurgency.

“We will continue to root out all forms of banditry, criminality, terrorism and insurgency in the land.

As I stated earlier in my in- dependence address to the nation, I will hand over a Nigeria that is free from insecurity to the next generation of leaders” President Buhari said

Meanwhile, VOG earlier reported that raving Nigerian songstress and entertainer, Teniola Apata, better known within the showbiz circles as Teni has been honored by President Buhari.

The multiple award winning singer and songwriter has been conferred with national honors in recognition of her contribution to the music industry.

Teni who was shortlisted with TuBaba and Burna Boy graced the award ceremony herself to get decorated with her national honor; a member of the order of the Niger, by President Buhari himself.

The ‘Case’ hit-maker alongside TuBaba and Burna Boy were slated together with 437 others for the national honors. This comes after Teni recently gifted her secondary school teacher with a brand new car on International Teacher’s Day.
