Celebrated Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke has shared his sentiments about the union between Christians and Muslims when it comes to marriage as he opens up about his personal experience.

Speaking with the lifestyle and celebrity blogger, Zionfelix on the Uncut Show, Jim Iyke stated that situations are very dicey when it comes to unifying Christians and Muslims under one roof on the account that both religions have their own sentiments and reasons for vouching for their beliefs.

He told a story of how he was unable to settle down with his Muslim girlfriend due to the fact that both sides, that is the Christian and Muslim could not reach an agreement to unite the two as husband and wife.

Jim Iyke while explaining his role in the upcoming movie dubbed “Zongo Boys” stated that some of his family members have once experienced similar situations.

However, he believes that religion should not be a hindrance to joining two people from religion as couples. He said that there have been numerous situations where people use religion for their own selfish gains, hence discussions like this can be resolved by both parties reaching a common goal.
