How Nollywood Abandoned Me — Veteran Actor, Fabian Adibe Opens Up

Veteran Nigerian actor, Chief Fabian Adibe has lamented bitterly over some ills in the movie industry and why he left Nollywood.

Fabian Adibe who has been out of the movie scene for 12 years disclosed that an actor/actress is being paid the sum of N100,000 for a role in the industry.

According to Fabian Adibe, about a decade ago when he was sought after including his colleagues, actors and actresses were reluctantly paid N10,000 which was attached with lots of complaints that it was too much.

The revered thespian claimed he has been abandoned in the movie industry as the producers he was making money for have never bothered to ask about it or look for him after several years of staying off-camera.

Fans after seeing the video expressed delight in the fact that many thought Fabian Adibe had died.

A lot of social media users alluded that Fabian Adibe was noble in almost all his movies.
