Singer Tems during her acceptance speech at the just-ended BET awards after taking Best Collaboration Act on behalf of Wizkid and herself sold Africa to the world.

Wizkid, Tems, and Justin Beiber won Best Collaboration at BET with their hit song Essence, receiving the award on their behalf, Tems used the opportunity to sell Africa to the world making them understand that great things are happening in Africa.

According to Tems, the spot is on Africa now as almost everyone is looking up to Africans and it’s a fact looking at how Africans are breaking barriers in the music industry, and today Nigeria has won a BET award though it’s not their first.

It’s the first time Tems won a BET award and fortunately for her, she won two awards on the same night, we can only imagine how happy and grateful she will be to Wizkid for giving her the opportunity to show the world what she got.
