Some Nigerian actors have gone to Instagram to express their dissatisfaction with their working conditions and salary.

Nigerian actors are paid “peanuts,” the food is “whack,” and the working conditions are “slave-like,” according to Gideon.

He advised Nigerians not to be envious of actors that dress up for movie awards red carpets since it’s all about the branding. Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde agreed with him and reacted.

Gideon’s remark comes in response to an interview actress Adunni Ade gave in which she advocated for greater actor wages.

In other news, Actor Gideon Okeke has made it clear to his colleagues that their female colleagues are in no way their mates in the scheme of things as they’re just second-class citizens at the table of equity.

Gideon Okeke yesterday made an assertion that actors are underpaid and those living lavishly on the gram pretending to be rich are only packaging because they aren’t paid well at all in the Nollywood industry.

From what Gideon Okeke wrote, you can say the female actors or actresses in Nollywood are doing better than the male actors and he’s warning them or making them understand that they’re not their mates in any way.

They can be mates per profession as they are all actors for fans to love them but when it comes to the scheme of things, they’re not mates since they’re second-class citizens when it comes to equity.
