Chris Brown has acknowledged a recent tweet made by a Nigerian music journalist Joey Akan where he hailed him for incorporating African acts into his repertoire.
Joey had said Breezy has done well in collaborating with Nigerian artists, especially those in the Afrobeats genre and noted he’s the type who is ready to try something new.
”Chris Brown has my ultimate respect as the most American Afrobeats artists. One of the earliest to embrace our sound and collaborate with our acts at the start of our global campaign, he’s remained accessible to this market.
Wizkid, Davido, Rema and Lojay now have him on songs,” his tweet has said.
Chris spotted the tweet and spotted the tweet repost it on his Instagram story without any caption.
