BREAKING: Makola market gutted by fire. Traders have been thrown into despair as fire ravages the Hong Kong Market near Makola in Accra. The cause of the Monday morning fire is yet to be known but fire officers, who were called in to fight the inferno, swiftly took control of the scene to put out the inferno.
A fire tender was seen parked in front of the Market with officers frantically splashing water to make sure the fire does not spread to other stalls. Reports indicate that the fire service station which happened to be a stone-throw away from the fire failed to handle the outbreak and as of now, the entire building is in blazing flames.
